Well brothers and sisters, what IS this all about you ask?
As those of you who know me know, and those of you who are about to find out, I've been DJ'ing for about twenty years. I'm still into music, but at a bit of a loss about where to hear stuff I like and not lose my Karma by having clueless dickheads spoiling my night. I think there must be a machine making those dickheads, a factory maybe, cos there's more and more of 'em each day.
So, we decided to put on these regular parties once a month, at the end of the month. There were a few really good reasons for doing this:
1. Dickhead deportation. No DH. If you are emotionally insecure and need to prove yourself, stop reading now!
2. The music (See Below)
3. Money is getting tighter these days. One blinding night per month is 'do-able'.
4. Did I mention the dickheads? Oh, yeah, erm, right...
5. As our lives become busier, planning nights out becomes harder. You will be able to guarantee that everyone is planning a 'big one' at the end of the month. (See point 6 below)
6. End of the month is PAYDAY.
7. Entrance is FREE.
8. Entrance is FREE. A point worth making twice I thought.
9. This idea has been done before and was so successful, that most of the music that your hear today (House Music) came from this ECLECTICISM.
